Château Masion Neuve, Cuvée Alexia 2020

Château Masion Neuve is a wonderful family-run winery found in the Blaye-Cotes de Bordeaux appellation of France. Now into its fourth generation of family ownership, current custodian, Alexia Eymas, believes that great wine is made in the vineyard; which is why all her wines focus on minimal intervention, letting the fruit speak for itself. Cuvée Alexia 2020 is her flagship wine, made from an old-school Bordeaux-blend of Merlot and Malbec. The grapes were hand-harvested and aged entirely in stainless steel to retain maximum freshness in the wine. Packed with notes of black plum, cassis, blackcurrant and violet; the palate is silky and rich, with further fruity flavours carrying the pleasantly long finish.
